Our Story
Twelve years beside the loom — not behind a desk.
Sarinama began in 2014 in a small studio in Varanasi, when our founder Lakshmi — a textile historian trained at NID — decided that the women buying heirloom sarees deserved to know the hands that wove them.
Today our team of curators travels to 14 weaving clusters every season, commissions directly from 200+ master weaver families, and personally inspects every drape before it leaves our atelier.

Finished by hand
Falls stitched, pico edged and pre-pressed by our in-house atelier — ready to drape.

Delivered like an heirloom
Hand-wrapped in muslin, sealed in a keepsake box with the weaver’s name and certificate.
